Who we are
Clarisen (formerly ScienceMamasHQ) began with a shared experience — a season of overwhelm, unanswered questions, and a deep concern for our children's health. In the postpartum years and throughout early childhood, we found ourselves searching for answers to symptoms that were dismissed as “normal,” yet didn’t feel right. Like so many families, we felt unseen — isolated in our worries, yet surrounded by a medical system that often couldn’t connect the dots.
But we weren’t alone. And we weren’t imagining it.
We soon discovered a larger truth: these symptoms — from chronic fatigue to digestive struggles, developmental delays, and more — are increasingly common, but that doesn’t mean they’re normal. Beneath the surface, we began uncovering overlooked patterns — subtle yet widespread nutrient deficiencies passed down through generations and worsened by poor modern diet & lifestyle patterns.
Through better testing, targeted support, and the power of community, we’ve witnessed what’s possible when families are equipped with the right knowledge. Not just in our own lives, but in the lives of many others who have found clarity, progress, and relief.
Clarisen was born from this shift — from confusion to understanding, from isolation to connection, from surviving to truly healing. Our mission now is simple: to empower families everywhere with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to address the root causes of chronic symptoms and support long-term health.

Why Clarisen?

We chose the name Clarisen to reflect the heart of our mission:
Clarity. Connection. Care.
It evokes a sense of calm understanding in the midst of chaos — a “clear sense” of what’s happening beneath the surface. It stands for generational wisdom informed by modern science, and for the shared belief that empowered families create healthier futures.
To us, Clarisen means:
✨ Clarity – A clear sense of what’s going on beneath the surface
✨ Care – The deep, intergenerational commitment to family wellbeing
✨ Connection – Between past and future, science and story, struggle and healing
This is more than a name — it’s a vision for how health can feel.
Our Goal & Our Vision
Our goal remains unchanged: to tackle the hidden crisis of modern-day malnutrition.
But our vision has expanded. We now see that achieving this goal requires more than information alone—it requires a holistic foundation of clarity, connection, and care.
Our vision is to create a world where every family has access to the knowledge, tools, and compassionate support they need to navigate their health journey with confidence, achieve lasting wellbeing, and live their healthiest, happiest lives.
Our Mission & Goals

Empower Families with Knowledge
We educate families through our social media channels and website about the profound impact nutrition and lifestyle have on health.
By raising awareness of nutrient deficiencies and related conditions, we aim to help families recognise symptoms early and take proactive steps.

We create accessible resources and online courses focused on preventing and reversing nutrient deficiencies, empowering families with practical tools to support their wellbeing.

Drive Awareness and Education
We are committed to tackling modern-day malnutrition on a global scale by promoting education about nutrient deficiencies and their impact.
Our mission is to inspire systemic change, beginning with prevention and early intervention.

Through existing evidence and the insights generated by Clarisen Research, we work to inform healthcare professionals, enabling better diagnosis and treatment of nutrient deficiencies.

Testing Support and Resources
Clarisen empowers families with trusted guidance to access reliable and effective testing for nutrient deficiencies. We help families navigate their options, so they can confidently take charge of their health journey.

We are committed to partnering with charities and organisations to improve affordability and accessibility of essential testing and care for families in need.

Please note, Clarisen provides educational support and does not offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for personalised care.

Impactful Research, Led by Sister Organisation
While Clarisen empowers families with practical knowledge and support, our sister organisation, Clarisen Research, leads pioneering studies into nutrient deficiencies and complex metabolic conditions.
Their work aims to generate robust scientific evidence to improve understanding and treatment, focusing on key essential nutrients like iodine, selenium, B vitamins, and others.

Together, we’re committed to transforming family health through education and research.
